eRealty, the nation's premier online residential real estate brokerage, announced today Dallas/Forth Worth's ten most popular ZIP codes searched by area home buyers on eRealty.com in 2002. They are:

- 75006 (Carrollton)
- 75007 (Carrollton)
- 75024 (Plano)
- 75025 (Plano)
- 75019 (Coppell)
- 75093 (Plano)
- 75080 (Buckingham/Richardson)
- 75051 (Grapevine)
- 75075 (Plano)
"Plano's rank as the most popular area on the list is no surprise," said Sonja West, market director for eRealty's DFW office. "Considering its wide variety of communities, there is something for everyone there. Year after year many national publications rank Plano as one of the nation's best places to live and work."
West says that the Telecomm Corridor in Richardson is home to many young, well-educated professionals who are heavy Internet users and who, by nature, begin their home search on the Web.
The Ten Most Popular ZIP Codes Searched study is based upon the number of eRealty registered users who have saved a specific ZIP code within their home search criteria. According to the California Association of Realtors®, 41 percent of home buyers use the Internet as an information source in the real estate process.
